About Me The world is a complicated place; my passion is trying to make sense of it. I love searching for patterns and trends, digging for facts, and attempting to bring some semblance of order to the chaos, noise, and misinformation that all too often characterizes modern life. I’m a writer, a thinker, a student of Arabic, and a history buff. In addition to my professional background as a researcher and journalist, my language skills and travel experience in the Middle East provide a truly unique perspective on world events. I am currently seeking employment as a research assistant, journalist, risk consultant, intelligence analyst, or think tank intern; preferably in the Washington, D.C. area.
